Just in case you are curious, here's some "Befores" and "During" since a good deal of this will be internal:
Tank ready for bodywork and paint
Flywheel before milling (took 15oz out of it)
Tearing down the motor:
Cases back from powder coat (wrinkle black finish)
New Wossner forged pistons, (.50 over) back from being coated
New Kibblewhite valves, Serdi cut, head treated with thermal dispersion coating
I haven't unwrapped the crank and other drivetrain bits to photo them yet, as I am not planning a build thread on this bike. But I have changed 5th gear to a bit more torque for less highway gearing. Carbs have been bored just a touch, and swing arm is already modified and awaiting a few final frame mods before going off to be powder coated.
This bike actually has come together much more easily than any of the CBs I've done as it was a 1-Owner, no rust, and full teardown took about 1:45 from start to "pile of parts".
