The ducati next to my scoot wasnt molested. It has an alarm.
I wish I could rig up a remote device that turns on some juice that shocks people if they touch my bike.
I wont be shooting real guns at people though, unless they are pointing something at me.
No.

Bad as it was, it could have been worse. Back in Scotland I had a bike (CB350SG) that was left overnight in the University bike parking area. Someone (or some peple) came along and pushed it over and took a brick to the gas tank, denting it severly.....I found it the next day, gas leaking from the side, tank had a HUGE dent and mirrors bent, indictor cracked etc....its heartbreaking to see this happen.

good luck in getting yours running again. I filled the dent in the tank with some polyfilla type stuff and rode for another year or before selling it to some Greek guy who took it home with him (after buying a new tank for it!).

cheers
Andy

my point was that if someone were to take a brick to your scoot, you would go through more than just anger.  it is a complex feeling that some have alrready described as heartbreak.  i can tell you my heart definately sank when i came home one night to find the super pickle lying prone on the sidewalk.  luckily i had a rear winker that took it all for the team.  i have had my dashboard ripped apart and my stereo stolen twice though s i know that 'violated' feeling and the tendency of a mother#$%*er to go bronson.  But in the end it is you who has to look in the mirror and whoever did it to you has to do the same.  and i dont think either of you want to see charles bronson looking back at you when you do.
think on that

Stupid kids..

Weren't we all stupid at one time....?

For this reason, I've become the "Cranky Old Man" of the neighborhood! My 15 year old daughter is mortified, but when I was a little kid,I don't think I was really destructive, but I remember feeling a sense of ownership of everything around me...I'd cut through peoples yards (sometimes on my minibike), build forts in their woods and we'd have neighborhood Hide and seek sessions where peoples yards weren't a barrier.
I now have a monsterous 8 year old boy next door, and you bet I'm being proactive...especially when it comes to my bike....you can bet that if your bike had fallen over on a little kid, you'ld probably get sued!

Nobody does the five stages of grief like Homer Simpson:

Dr. Hibbert: Now, a little death anxiety is normal. You can expect to go through five stages. The first is denial.
Homer: No way! Because I'm not dying!

Dr. Hibbert: The second is anger.
Homer: Why you little!

Dr. Hibbert: After that comes fear.
Homer: What's after fear? What's after fear?

Dr. Hibbert: Bargaining.
Homer: Doc, you gotta get me out of this! I'll make it worth your while!

Dr. Hibbert: Finally, acceptance.
Homer: Well, we all gotta go sometime.

That's right  :D

It comes when you realize that you can shoot further than most can see  ;) However few things are nicer than a crossbow. No noise, lots of pain and they will never step next to a motorcycle again ;)  ;D

Laughed so hard at the giraffe I got back cramp.  :D

lots of people new to the giraffe, huh.  well then like me you must be cable-deficient, or perhaps so cable-saturated that you didnt even know this #$%* was there.  its from a series of stop motion animations on cartoon network adult swim called 'robot chicken' luckily someone has youtubed a whole lot of it so we cable deprived can view it.  as for those with the cable that just didnt know about it, figure out when it comes on and watch it for the love of jebus.

Crossbow's are nice, however i was wondering if shooting these different projectiles at people near our "scoots" may accidentally miss or ricochet into our "scoots" and we would have to shoot ourselves

What stage would that be stage 2 again?
