Who has F**k You Money

And if you did would even consider this. I was checking prices because I will be parting out a sandcast shortly and found this. Some people really do have Delusions of Granduer.

That is ludicrous.  I like how his listing title has "Sandcast" in it but it's admittedly a Diecast.

I didn't pay attention to the shipping charges. Guy has a lot of balls asking $50 shipping on a tank that he wants $3200 for.

Agreed, price is nutty. Out of curiosity, why are you parting out a sandcast? Pics?

I inherited it from my brother who passed away earlier this year. I also inherited his 70 Triumph Tiger 650 and a 1955 Norton Featherbed model 88 with a 1974 Kawasaki H2 motor in it. The Norton is complete, the Triumph has the top end off it. I plan on restoring the Triumph and using it as a daily rider, it holds much sentimental value to me. The Kawaton I will sort through to make it road worthy and then probably flip it. I don't have the time nor money needed to restore the sand cast, so it will be flipped to fund the other 2.
They are in Calif. right now and will be a couple of months before I can get them shipped to here in Ga. I'll post pics when I receive them.

Same kind of tank for $630US. NEW tank!  I do not know import costs to USA.

Wrinkle tank $2360US, NEW tank. Why so much more for those wrinkles that must be a consequence of bad method forming the metal, right?

Fuel cap has to be added on the Yamiya tanks...

The old tanks on eBay are no longer interesting when Yamiya sell good tanks of a wonderful finish!!

I know a guy who races a 1925 Bugatti T-35A.

If he needed that tank...

Problem is that guy is only going up unless he reprices it during an auction or offers it after an auction.

You can get a new tank and have it painted by a very good professional cheaper than this guy wants to start at.

His poop does smell either,  he thinks.

I understand you are looking for the one sucker in the crowd, but at that price it has to be a pretty big crowd to find that sucker. Like I said, if I was building a 1005 concourse restoration and that was the last one left I could find, then maybe. But there are too many other options available to spend that kind of stupid money.

I don't see where the value of that can be anything more than slightly above Yamiya. They make some very good repro products. I have a Yamiya tank and am 100% pleased with it. IMO opinion their tanks and other body parts are very fairly priced when comparing to the time and money to repair rust, fix dents, have a body man do his magic, etc.

Yamiya gets $639 for a painted repro K0 tank, $2369 for a painted NOS Honda wrinkle tank. This guy is just nuts. He's not only looking for the sucker in the crowd, but the sucker who doesn't know how to shop.
