Posted this before but somehow the post didn't work.

I got this cover with some 750 parts. Anyone know what it fits?

I think it is a Yamaha 750 twin side cover.

what about yamaha xs750 triple were they sohc or dohc? can't remember :-\,   mick.

Ya, that defiantly looks like the same cover as a yamaha that a saw downtown that was a triple 750. and DOHC So I,m guessing its off a Yamaha xs750

Ah the TX 750, never imported to the UK, thank god! The 500 version was the second worst Yamaha ever and i believe the 750 was on a par.
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
