Holy ess!!! Z1 madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: September 25, 2005, 10:13:45 AM »

Someone once joked about building a twin-engined CB750.

Well, here it is, the twin-engined Z11800. This is no gurl bike, my friends.

I'm awestruck.

"Yes honey it is practical. If one engine breaks down, the other one will get it home."  :)

Can someone post a pic? I can't access Ebay from my defence department computer? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Urrggghhh! God almighty, that thing is about the ugliest damn thing I've seen this week! Here's how the Brits do it, very tasty  indeed! Allen Millyard is a self-taught engineering  legend, he's been building 4,5,6 and 7 cylinder Kawasaki strokers for wealthy US and Japanese buyers for awhile now, and after this Z1 V8 bike he also built a V12 Z1300 based beastie, and they all look like factory prototypes! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Where did you find that picture Terry? I recently read the full article in the "Classic & Motorcycle mechanics", some issue of 2002, can't remember the month though. He had to modify the chassis and used Suzuki carbs and some kitchen piping for the intakes. He also built a 5-cyl Kawa two-stroker out of a Mach III...

That Milyard creation is nice, but the other one is a poor exercise of engineering. If I had the time and spare bikes I would not mind to experiment myself, surely I would learn a lot of things in the process. But trying to sell it afterwards is stupid, I rather chop it and sell the parts.

Raul

P.S. Terry, what happens with my nut?
