Balancing Screws
« on: October 31, 2015, 11:10:05 AM »
Hi Guys,

Anyone have a clue on how I can replace the screws on the carb intake. The ones that you use for balancing the carbs.  The heads are stripped so need to remove them but a little unsure how to do it?  Also, would I be able to use other screws to replace the damaged ones as I can't find any online.

Use a screwdriver.. Put in onto the head on the screw and knock it heavily three times with a good size hammer   After That use all your power and turn anti clockwise with the screwdriver... Works very Well for me . Cmnsl have the screws.  Easy job.     Method Can be used on any screw on a Honda , where it it screwed into aluminium

An impact driver or a big hammer are useful in lots of applications, but I'm not sure this is one of them. Not unless you want to be in the market for new manifolds that is :-\

It doesnt need to be BIG. Just normal good size hammer, and the punch should of course not be so heavy that manifold break  ;D
