Small update: I got my CM400t back, my first bike! My buddy who had it was moving and couldn't keep both his cb125 and the 400 and since the cm400 needed some engine work he passed it back to me! So now I'm going to be trying to get that back on the road rather quickly. Looks like I need to resurface the gasket surface and replace the head gaskets.

So the friend who was working on the frame for me? He brought gifts today.


Could not be happier with the out come. There was a bit of a worry about the frame being bent, I went through everything with a level and it's all strait, just looks wonky... May become a bigger concern once we see how it tracks.

I also got a few surprised form him as well.

A 550 rear swing arm so I can have a tubular frame all the way through, also allowing for a wider tire/wheel.

And theses beauties.


Coming along slowly but surely. I've been working on the cm400t I posted about previously and should have that wrapped up shortly.. I also will be starting a new job since I lost mine back in December it'll help to get some money flowing through to fund the project.

That's a good mod. The 550 swingarm is slightly longer than the 750 arm and accommodates a wider wheel.

 It's not as strong and the 750 is a good bit heaver then the 550.  I would recommend welding in an under tube loop to stiffen it up.

..It sure has been a while...

I finished up a little scrambler out of that cm400, ended up blowing the engine (primary chain) and found a cm450 with 1200 original miles on it, swap meet for a few parts and a plethora of new components I'm riding and ready to get back to work on the CB750.

Between a few local celebrities on here, got my new head in! I found that the original head that came with my bike had a very armature attempt at porting and they had dremeled through the intake so that needed to be replaced. Spoke with a friend who was able to track this down, I'll let everyone guess who was involved with this one, I am certainly impressed!
