I know one member who uses pintress.  He seems to like it.  Facebook has too much visual clutter.  I can follow what is going on.  I would need Facebook light.

I'm on facebook to post pictures of my kids for all the older people in my family so I don't have to send them out in emails, and to make sarcastic remarks to my friends' posts.

I'm on sohc4.net because I like old Hondas and making sarcastic remarks to people from all over the world that I've never met.

Funny!  This is good stuff.  Keep the post rolling.  It is very interesting to know which social media outlets people are using.

FB, Twitter, BlogSpot, LinkedIn, here, Honda Twins, dedicated website (www.goodcitizen.com).  The only one I visit regularly is here & twins - the rest are for band promotions.  And I leave it up to the other members for the most part to keep it lively.  That doesn't always work tho . . . it's my band.  I, by nature, am lazy.

Me too!  What do you Tweet.  Just don't understand where Twitter fits into the whole thing.  Do people really want a play by play update?  How do you use Twitter?

I use twitter mostly as an ad for gigs "Hey! we're playing blah blah blah" - but on occasion I just get a random thought or idea or opinion and keep it terse, throw it out, see if anyone feels the same way.  However, because I think twitter is just plain weird (do we really need to know RIGHT now what you're thinking?) - as a paean, my first three tweets were - I quote - "I just had a ham sandwich!"  "I just had another ham sandwich!"  "I can't believe how much I like ham sandwiches!"  Which garnered zero followers and as many responses.  But worth a shot.
