I don't know it kinda looks like it they did but they are very faint. If they are available again then I'll get them.

Back to the bowl it still sits crooked pilot in or not. I think the bike might jave neen in an accident or something and that carb body is no good. Strange because I don't remember it being crooked when I pulled the carbs. I'll search the parts section or contact harisuluv for another carb body.

You're just going to assume your carb is bad and get another one? Do you know for a fact it's tweaked? To bend a carb body you would most likely see damage on the outside. Anything? You tried all bowls on that carb?

I have tried all the bowls on that carb. I don't see any visible damage. It look a little bit crooked compared to the one next to it but I dunno if thats just my eyes messing with me. I tooked it to the Honda dealer the other day and he said it my emulision tube that is not in all the way. I got home and checked and it wasen't. It was even with the one next to it. I kinda ran out of ideas at this point.

The emulsion tube in your pictures looks normal. They usually don't thread all the way in. Can you put a straight edge across all carb bodies in different places and see if this one is actually tweaked? I mean, the bowl WAS on before without a gap...

Could it be the float hinge pin is a little too long to fit between the guides cast in the bowl?

BINGO! I bought a new float and the pin that came with is slightly longer than the orignal. The original gets stuck somewhere before the second hole. I will shave off a tiny bit of the new one. Bowl fits right on flush. Thanks! With all the frustration I've had in the past week with this bike you just made my day.

Love it. I wouldn't have thought there was that tight a tolerance.

Comparing the last picture you posted of your pilot jet to the one I posted from jetsrus  :o
Ive never seen such twisted carnage  :o  That'd be nearly impossible to tune properly.
Get new ones asap!

this size press in jet is used in quite a few carbs, including the 77/78K's PD carbs
they'll be around  ;)

45's?
Never heard of any 550 with your setup needing 45's    ::)
Was that suggested to you or just a wild@ss guess on your part?
