Very nice! If you have pix from the process, you should do a project thread here.

Nice looking ride, except for those twisted up exhaust pipes!  Hope you weren't hurt when that happened. :)  :) :)

56 at the moment. sometimes getting out of bed I'm older. put a few drinks under my belt and I am much younger, for a little while. Going for a ride on one of the bikes, road or off road, the years just tumble away, too busy smiling. ;D

Im 20 with a 1975 CB750. Was 19 when I bought the thing. Doing a complete 836 kit, throwing in a CycleX CX-3 Cam, and having the head ported this week. I wish I had some of the build. Instagram is Lammers000 for the younger guys. I like to post my stuff on there from time to time.

68. Was looking for retirement projects and wanted old Superhawk like I had in 1970. Wrench time, mainly. Pricey and found very affordable CB350F down the street. Towed home behind a lawn mower. This forum has made it all work. Next want to install 400 motor I found for hundred bucks. Cheap? Spent $5k on shed to make some room in garage for bike and tools. Very happy.

Thank you for the kind words guys! You also have some very beautiful bikes! A lot of love and of course time went into the build. I'm in the middle of moving to another city right now, so I don't have the time for a build thread right now, but I will make one when I have the time for it.

No mistake. I started off hugging the tank between my dad's legs. Moved to the backseat at 4. Rode the K by myself at 11. At 14 I took out the other K model we had. I think it was just over 1000cc. He doesn't know about that ride. hahaha And now I have my own F'er.

Ha, getting rides on the tank, my first memory of being on a motorcycle.  I moved to the backseat as soon as I could reach foot pegs -that was or is the law too.

I'm 54 with a fkcd left hip. That's ok though, coz all my bikes' kickstarters are on the right. I've probably had more bikes than I've had women. As long as I can kick 'em, I'll keep riding 'em.

Every left side kick start I have seen is meant to still be kicked with the right leg standing off the side of the bike

Hey Thanks Fly, I appreciate that. Came out pretty good for my first one. I got lucky finding the whole set of those finned covers at RIce-O-Rama here in the Northeast, points, clutch, alternator cover. I picked up a finned starter cover on ebay that said "New" but it was obviously some knuckle head who was making them himself because the casting was too large by about a 1/4" and the surface was bumpy.

So for anyone looking for one if you see them on ebay by a guy named "Claponstrat" , They are pieces of junk.

There are some AMAZING bikes on this forum and I think it would be so cool to have a Gathering of the CB's sometime where everyone got together to check out eachothers bikes and ride..... that would be pretty sweet.
