hey im 24 on a cb350f mostly stock with mostly new reproduction parts. ive got 102 miles on the bike now. and ive been wondering the average cb riders age
here is the 73 im riding it has a total of 27000 miles and hasn't run in 23 years

Im 32 my bikes a 74 it pre-dates me by 9 years.... Probably not the typical demographic on here but hey what the heck. I quite enjoy these old bikes they are great fun to mess with.

Edit - Yes this is fun! Here are the bikes that I have owned that I put lots of miles on
1.Yamaha L2G100 (sold)
2.CB400 four (once upon a time was red, restored & slightly cafed it. (sold))
3.Suzuki GT380 (sold)
4.CB400 four (original color unknown, sold)
5.CB400 four (put together from parts, sold)
6.CB450 (blue/chrome - sold still running after over 10 years of riding it around!)
7.CB450 (blue/chrome - engine broke, STOLEN)
8.Suzuki DR250S (stolen)
9.Yamaha RZ250R (sold)
10.CB500 four (candy garnet brown - awaiting some TLC)
11.CB500 four (bought not running incomplete($200). Now is complete and repainted candy garnet brown)
12.CB550F (spent the last 3 years buying bits and assembling them into this which is currently my daily rider)-
and here it is (temporarily wearing my 500's seat & tank)

my dad (51) first bike was a cb350f and the first vintage ive rebuilt is a cb350f. glad to know people care about these kind of bikes

I have owned my CB750 K6 since early 1979 (mars) when I have (since 5 months) been allowed to drive a bike over 125cc.
I have birthday today, so it's up to everyone to use some mathematics!

52, it all started about 6 years ago when I spotted a severely neglected 550 in a shed and had to have it and now have a 77 750 f2. Yeah I'm a relative newb but I was spooked by bikes when I was young and didn't have much interest in them. 2 of my older brothers had H2 750 Kaws back in the late 70's and I think too many times riding with them holding on for dear life spooked me too much. I remember riding on the back with one of them and another bike pulled up next to us at an intersection, my brother turned to me and told me to hold on tight. It was a thrill but I think the adrenaline rush was a bit too much for me when the front wheel of the Kaw came off the ground when the light turned green.

Got my 750 k7 with about 60000k on it, in 93 as a 26 year old, put about 40000k on it, left it for 10 years, (always ran just not registered).
37000 klm's in the last two years, post (bike) resurrection.
49 in a few weeks.

I was 23 when I bought my first (and still current) K8 CB750... twenty-nine years ago!

I have since refurbished a 78 CB750F (sold) and yet another 78 CB750K. Got three more basket cases lined up for "resurrection".

I like this game. I am 43 and started riding about 5 years ago in the Dominican Republic for my cousins wedding. My rental was a little 40 year old Yamaha 2-stroke I was amazed that thing could still run. I loved the simplicity of that old bike and bought a gs450 when I got back. Graduated to a cb650 and scored a 72 CB750 found this forum, made lots of new friends and the rest is history.

The guesser in me says most members are between 24 to 62. Will be interesting to see the results.

57. Started with 175 Honda back in 80s moved up to a 550/4 and chose a self imposed hiatus when family time became more important. 20 years later, after two kids finish college, decide I can get back into bikes with more sense and cash. 05 Fatboy becomes reality and me and my bride enjoy it together for a year. She decides to drive her own. Starts with a 700 Honda. Presently, my main ride is still my Fatboy. The Bride has her own 07 Fatboy and I resurrected a 73 750/4 to ride when at a summer home in ME.

OK, I'll bite

I am 51. Bought my first motorcycle when I was 25, it was a smoker - aka 2 stroke, 2 cylinder CZ (yes, the same CZ as CZ-75 and others) - and rode it for 5 years all over the Czech Republic. When I got married, we bought Honda CBX750 and took it to Austria, Swiss, Germany, Benelux, France. I sold it before moving to USA.

In USA I got involved with Jeeps, namely CJ7 and in 2011 a friend gave me 1970 CB750 since it needed some TLC - so I started riding again.

He got from his neighbor for free and since he had a DR and a Harley, he wanted to pass it on.

Just turned 58. Started out on a CT70 in 1971. Owned a K3 750 by '73 when I was 16. It was fun. I got pulled over for speeding more times than I can remember, but they always let me go.
I was blessed with a well paying summer job, with wages enough to make twelve monthly installment payments
for my beloved Honda. Japanese bikes were everywhere in those days, LOTS of 2 strokes in the mix, and not all
street bikes. Off road bikes, by many manufacturers, Bultaco, Hodaka, Ossa, Can Am, CZ, and on were common.
Do they still make any of those? I must admit to being behind the times.
The Honda 750 was a chick magnet. If only I knew then...Got to experience the Kaw 900 in '74 when my dad bought one. I got as many comments on my bike back then as I do now on my K5. Don't ride much any more due to health limitations, but still work on my 2 bikes for entertainment and exercise.

23, bought a little Suzuki 250 in 2012. Very quickly riding wasn't enough. I bought a 73 500 engine for $100 and decided to build a bike around it piece by piece from the back of my trunk (guess what? it's still back there). Realized very quickly that was a bad way to build a motorcycle. Moved into a one car garage townhouse, bought tools, learned how to weld and bought a 78 CB550K. Learned so much from people here and got to meet a lot of people that let me use their equipment and that supported me.
