Please don't derail yet another thread.

Hahaha,  Pointing out the obvious isn't derailing a thread mate, besides, you just posted a pile of bike pictures in a thread that asks your age, not how many bikes you've had, or the stupid things you do on them, irony anyone... ;D ::)  I also thought the US constitution  had a "First amendment" to protect  "freedom of speech", maybe your in the wrong place... ;D

Your kickstand isn't showing in the shadows below your bike, GV. See, a little observation of the facts proves this stunt is silly, dangerous, and the three of you have much to learn. In fact, there is no kickstand showing in any of the three bike's shadows.

A very poor choice of a stunt, and even poorer choice to be untruthful about the circumstances of the pictures.

The reason some of us are Old Men is that we don't do stupid things on public roadways while atop motorcycles.

Amen... ;)

I'm 67,and hopefully next year I'll have my cafe '74 CB750/836 and my original owner 1970 KO 750836 touring bike on the road. BTW, my "touring" bike and my cafe racer will be all period parts...touring will be a Vetter Phantom fairing. Karl Heinrich 6.5 gallon tank, Craven panniers and rack, 38mm Marzocchi front forks, KImtab front wheel , Bowman deep finned oil pan and a whole host of other 1970's era stuff, and I can't wait.

Just did a quick count(might of missed one or 2) on the age groups that have posted here so far:
20's 15
30's 12
40's 9
50's 18
60's 11
70's 3
I figured us 50 guys would be leading the pack here, but it surprises me that their are that many 20 age group sohc4 riders. Heck I've got underwear and socks that old ;D But I'm happy to see the young guys riding these old Honda's and realizing what great bike's they were and still are ;)

Lot of 20's and 30's, I guess that would explain all the cafes and mods going on. As a 50's I prefer to leave mine stock as I remember them.

Not while stunting. And not where its was not required by law.

Will be soon enough to insure you've paid enough taxes into our corrupt system.  >:( But there are plenty of laws about how you die currently.

Off topic but, since I had to answer to others I will mention this here to clear up a little confusion.

The foolish "stunt" was done at a moving rate of speed. I mentioned it was not moving as a strict joke, to stop the banter. As also mentioned, it's not something that I have done or do often, in fact haven't since that photo was taken. It was foolish plain and simple. We all have done foolish things from time to time I'm sure.

Whomever would like to dicsuss in further, please pm ME.

Bump.

Ended up getting a 2WD 2005 Ural for winter riding. Bought it from the original owner, my friends dad. She's been used in most winters since the purchase as it was his DD (didn't own a car either) so she's rusty with some nice patina which adds to the deserved character, so I think at least! I don't mind as I'll be doing the same thing with it. Needs some TLC but I don't mind.

I'm 78 ... The best bike I ever owned was a 1963 Triumph Bonneville. Cut a deal with a very small dealer in Fort Lauderdale. He did not sell many new bikes and needed to show some sales, so my brother and I cut a deal for the bikes. We got the bikes in the oak crates and had to put them together. He got cash money. I got the two carb bike for $1,025.00. My brother got the purple TR-6 for $975.00. (The bonneville was maybe 1 or 2 MPH faster)
Now my ride is a little CB350F. No top end now. Just making a lot of noise winding up the thing around town
