Don't tell me you sent that thing to the great salvage yard in the sky?!
Anyone know of a place that does small batches of zinc plating? I've got a handful of screws etc that need a refresh that I can't find replacements for anywhere..
Ok, so maybe I've gone a little too far prettying up the starter motor...
Nice box! Its a great "shop" unit. Not too portable, but really welds well. I am partial to the Dynasty series, but they're pricey and then some. If my current unit ever dies, I'll be replacing it with a 280DX but the darn thing keeps kicking
Looking great! make sure you get the shock mounting points in the correct spot (if you want to run stock springs. I built the subframe how I wanted it to 'look' but it ended up not working with stock springs and I scrapped the mounting plates and dual springs and went with a monoshock
That tail section really looks sweet. Almost too nice to paint.
I agree. Maybe brush the finish and clear it, or at least show some of it off.
