Help with wiring cb 450...right hand control from a cb360
« on: April 18, 2016, 07:49:55 pm »
Hello

I have a cb450 that had fubar right hand control sub-harness and I was hoping to install a right hand control sub-harness from cb 360 which I have.
Is this possible?  Both have 9 wires in sub....though colors are somewhat different.
Please see the attached photos of both the old and new wires. Is this just a cross reference issue with wiring diagrams I currently don't have?

I appreciate any assistance.

Thanks

It matters which CB450 model you have.
Which wiring diagrams do you need?

 1973 CB450 K6
but the right hand grip is from a CB360...I just ran a single cable to the split cable.

I don't know what year the cb360 control is.

Bill. Thanks for the reply...I appreciate it.

Check over at http://www.hondatwins.net/forums/

You can find all the wiring diagrams there.
A multimeter would help you too.
