Honda Seat Logo on Cb750F2/F3
« on: November 10, 2015, 01:04:26 PM »
Did the Cb750F2s and F3s have the HONDA logo painted on the rear of their seats? Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat, I believe it did.

The reproduction seats I have come across do not have the logo.

So I am still searching for an OEM seat..

Not on the seat itself. . .there wasnt any room.
IIRC, there was some sort of decal on the rear cowl

Thanks for the replies. I have a few photos of the F2 and they do not have the logo painted on the rear of the seat but they may not be OEM seats. The two F2s that I own have the metal/plastic decal fixed to the rear cowl so maybe that is what Honda did instead of the painted logo. Pat

My 76F didn't have the printed logo.

Don, thanks for your feedback. Did it have the HONDA emblem on the tail piece?
Rocs, I can see the HONDA logo painted on the seat in your photo but the model of the bike is either F or F1 and there looks as if there are no mounting holes for an emblem on the tail piece. The F2/F3 came out later so the emblem on the tail piece instead of the logo painted on the rear of the seat may be one of the differences? Thanks for your feedback and that bike looks great. Pat

I have just found a photo of an F3 - not my bike. The photo shows the tail piece emblem but I cannot see a painted logo on the rear of the seat. Pat
