GSXR spring compression
« on: November 10, 2015, 09:07:54 PM »
Ok.. so I've tried eveything i can think of to get my gsxr forks back together. I have the right tool and i can get them compressed part of the way ( using ratchet straps) but it just won't go fare enough to be able to screw in! and my last try left my adjuster rod bent! so first question can that be rebent and still used? and how the hell do i get it back together what am i missing. is there a trick to get it back together? i know this is not a CB so any help would mean a lot.

- cut hole in wood
- lay bolt side down in to hole
- compress
- flip board over and TRY and screw in bolt

Thanks! I'm going to keep reading. I've got to be missing something. I think it's compressing to much and thats why it bent. Also think I need to put everything in the lower half of the shocks. Maybe when I get this all figured out I'll write something.
