Topic: CB550 Brake Pedal to Pivot/Arm Orientation

Rebuilding my '75 CB550 from the ground up so I have nothing to compare to.  Previous owner did not have correct parts on the bike, so, I'm trying to make sure I have the correct orientation for the brake pedal to where it mounts to the pivot arm.  Is it just a 45 degree? So if the pedal is in its correct spot for my comfort the pivot arm is pointing at the 6 o'clock position or is there a certain angle I should be adjusting for?

I looked in my shop manual but saw nothing that specific.

Any pictures of your bikes brake pedal set up would help a lot!

Thanks for the help and pictures. I realized I was going about it backwards. Instead of installing the pedal last, I was going to do it first. Took a break for a while and and realized it's easier to line it up by mounting everything to the assembly first.
