Maybe he should have taken a few tips from an ancient Kiwi on an ancient Indian... except the styling
I know it sounds totally vain, but for what he spent on that bike, I guarantee I could build a faster bike. It would also be better looking, imo. I mean, from what Ive read, he really didn't do much on the bike. The tank, and I'm sure, other, fabrication was done by other people. The engine was built by someone else. If I had those resources, we'd have a functional, fast, and imo opinion good looking bike. None of which his bike are, excepting good looking, and that's totally subjective.
Instead of going backwards in frame tech design, I'd move forward with the original greatness of the design.
I wouldn't butcher something like that in both the looks, and more importantly, function aspects of a vincent.
Linder... faster?... #$%* you could buy a fleet of 200 mph Haybusa's and pay off the house at the same time for that kind of money
Maybe even a round of beers for everyone here.
