What's up all,  just purchased myself a 1980 cb650sc that's been bobbed out, I was just wondering what all tips you all could give me since I'm new to the game. Any help will be appreciated as I know very little about these bikes.

Pull down the manual and perform the 3k Service. This will help you understand a great deal about the condition of the bike.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis
