My son has dropped his S4 a dozen times, in his pocket and fallen while skateboarding, stuffed in in the bottom of his backpack, etc.
I've had to replace the ballistic glass twice.  Cheap, compared to a new phone/screen.

I have the tempered glass screen protector and it has saved my screen and it didn't scratch as easy as the soft protectors I had one of the self healing protectors but change got stuck to it all the time

A little late to the party but I just upgraded to the iphone 6S from the 5S. Not a whole lot of difference noticed by me.

My wife had a Galaxy, she found it to non user friendly, she upgraded to 6 Plus iphone [too large IMO]
