Hello all - pretty new to this forum. Had not ridden in 25 years, on Halloween day last year I bought a 74 CB360 Rusty roller with almost no parts, but it had a good engine in a box. Boston had the worst winter ever, but I had the best winter ever. 300-400 hours and 4k miles later it was the funnest project I ever did. You can see from profile pic that on the CB360 I copied the tank color and decals from 74 CB 550/750 style. A buddy of mine told a guy that we both sorta knew what I did a couple months ago and he said "I have a 74 CB750 in my shed that I parked when my son was born, and my son is 37 now". So I go to pick it up for short money (on Halloween Day again by coincidence), and it is the exact bike I was copying - Orange 74 CB750 - he has every manual, service receipt, and a parts catalogue from a friend. Its in really nice shape, but it was rust seized from leaving the plugs out. I was so excited to buy it at that point that nothing was going to stop me - screw the seized pistons! - I am buying it! I will post pics to where I am now . Looking forward to tapping into the incredibly deep pool of knowledge here. Here is the one I did last year and the new one on the trailer, seized piston BBQ, and the worst piston that was the source of a 25 day battle. That's where I am now. Working on next steps from Hondaman's book.
