So I bought a Frankenstein 350F with a 400F engine and 750K0 or K1 front end and ton of spare parts for $600 running and registered a couple months ago. It was a bit rough, but I'm going through it piece by piece and I'm making it into a cafe racer, I finished restoring and painting the frame, almost finished with the engine. I'll have to shorten the forks a few inches.
The problem is the unicorn style upper triple tree is shot and replacements are going for a pretty penny on ebay, even then it would most likely break again as the K0/K1 fork clamps are pretty weak. The bottom triple tree seems fine, but its pretty rusty, I'll have to hit it with the sandblaster. What other bikes can I get top triple tree from that would match up with the 750 forks and K0 stem? I'll be getting new bearings from AllBalls. I'm not sure about the stem length, it seemed like it was fine before I started tearing it down.
Similar questions have most likely been posted, so if giving me a link if thats easier than typing it out, I tried looking before posting but I'm not getting anywhere with my search.
