OK, normally Andy750 does the calendar and does an exceptional job. I'm volunteering to do it this year and I'll do my best to try and maintain the level of quality and group effort Andy established in the past.
Of course, we're getting a really late start so I'm not sure how much time we'll have to pull this together. Ideally, we'll have something to purchase at least a week before the end of December.
I figure we should take a two pronged approach to make sure we can make this goal:
1. Do the normal process where everyone submits pictures - We can vote and/or possibly have multiple calendar versions
2. I also think I'll just start putting a calendar together of the "Bike of the Year" Finalists - there's 12 Finalists so that works out well.
OK... as usual:
Requirements for submission:- Photos must have been taken in 2015
- Photos should be accompanied by location of photo, bike model/year and you should state that you agree that the photo can be used for the SOHC Calendar.
- Remember nice clear photos with an interesting backdrop stand a much better chance of getting in: wild scenery, shops, bridge, race track, hot biker chick - or hot biker guy for our SOHC4 lady members? , etc etc...get creative!
- as a follow-up on #3 - please remember to consider the composition of your picture - sometimes I see a lot of almost awesome shots but the background is too strong that it actually takes away from the image of the bike
