« on: October 19, 2015, 09:08:24 AM »
I'm going to look a couple non running but decent condition 750s this weekend. The guy has a couple 750As and a couple 750Ks...  I'm trading my running riding but not quite finished xs650 for one.. Considering I already have a 70 750K project Im working on, which should I get?

They're like fat chicks; fun to ride,  but you don't want your friends to catch you on one.
I had a cb400 and it was fun to tool around town.

Another no on auto.

They're not worth as much either, if you care, although they are a nice niche thing for folks who may have issues riding a standard bike (missing digits/limbs/etc.).

The automatics are for bracket racing. Not so fast but consistent.

That is the exact reason I have a CB400A in my garage.  It is an okay ride and my wife likes it. Doesn't have much of pick up. A 150cc scooter is more fun to ride in my opinion.

Rarity doesn't automatically equal additional value.  The item in question also has to be highly sough-after.

Exactly. You gotta think of it as Supply vs Demand. A low demand, regardless of supply, usually dictates a much lower price.

I have a K5 and an A.

Love them both. Each for slightly different reasons.
