I just got a header only for the 750. I also already have a 12" come engineering muffler I'll probably put on it. Won't be until warmer weather though. Bike is buried in the corner.

I bought just the Header and added a piece of exhaust pipe that I got from an auto supply store.  It about 20 inches long with 2.5 inch inside diameter end that the header fits into... the rest is 2.5 outside diameter.

I cut the pipe down to about 15 inches and painted it with VFT paint...matte black.  I then purchased a baffle from Carppy and it fit perfectly... sounds great.  It has given the whole exhaust a Yoshimura look and sound.

The addition of a stainless steel clamp, attaching to the footage bracket, gave it support and a very finished look.  I will try and upload a picture.

My friend bought one of these and quality was amazing. All the pipes were numbered and it even came with new copper crush gaskets.

I recently picked up one of these with the help from Jerry and it's beautiful. I got the straight muffler design (looks like a yoshi pipe) and it's very good quality, the baffle and muffler are nice and it came with all the mounting brackets and springs, etc. Mine is not mounted yet but if anyone's questioning whether to get one.... Don't they're awesome!!! If anyone want's pictures or part #'s let me know. Take it easy.

Just one more thing…

It should be noted that I used a known technique in Honda Racing for the exhaust note/back pressure.  I created what is called a ‘LolliPop’.  It is basically a large round washer welded onto a bolt and placed three inches into the exhaust pipe.  Supposedly it provides additional back pressure when using a basic ‘open header’ exhaust system.  I do not know if it works but I like the sound.

Ahhh Man!

All my buddies think that I should just leave the tank rusted and clear coat it.  To tell you the truth...I kind of like the idea.

I do have the original tank and side covers... sunrise orange I think is the name of the color.  I bought blank side covers on eBay and just painted them flat black.  If I do paint the rusted tank it will be flat black.

So i have finally got the carbs mostly tuned. No popping and doesn't bog on snap throttle. Gotta ride and read some plugs now. But it sounds great. My phone doesn't quite do it justice.
