Are you saying I need to bring 1 and 4 to tdc and reset the points?

That and confirm the cam is oriented properly. While cranking, what symptoms do you get?

Are I got it to fire after reading the manual twice. But after it ran for two or three minutes oil started running out of the filter housing

Do NOT get overly zealous and torque that bolt down too tight!!!! Theres an o-ring under the cover that should be just "squishing" the case to make a seal. Way too many people crank down on that bolt and shear it, seize it, or strip the head. Technique and logic over brawn...

I guess just to make sense of it. If I put up a post about tuning my bike and then start talking about masking the tank off for a paint job, people are gonna be like WTF??

Was away for the holiday. But anyway I've been building my bike for about a year. I stripped it down completely and powder coated the frame red. With a little gold and some black. I done a top end overhaul with a big bore kit and a Carb rebuild. But I have no top end. It runs fine from 10 to 30 MPH but that's it. I'm new to bikes and this is my first build. I need some input badly!!!
