Honda CB550F1 Queries
« on: December 01, 2015, 02:10:54 PM »
Two questions that I hope someone with more knowledge than me can answer:
1/ Will the fork legs (stanchion and slider) from a CB750K2 fit into the top and bottom yokes of a CB550F with no modification?
2/ Engine No. CB550E 11368XX-  Are Keihin 069A carbs correct fitment?
Thanks.

Can't comment on the 750 forks, but yes the 069A's are correct if your bike is an F model.

I have 750 forks on a K bike and the 550 brake stuff bolted up just fine. The 750 forks are longer, though. You can maybe try pushing them up through the triples to get stock 550 geometry.
I think the F model brake stuff will work. Just use the 550 hanger/caliper/disc.

+1  Yes and yes. 750 forks will bolt straight in and the mounting lugs for the brakes are identical, John
