Looking at the pipe it sort of looks like stock headpipes.
I had heard that at first he built them that way....the ones in the pic may be one of them.

Those are the RC pipes that really made the "juice". Super rare - really hard to find a set these days.

That's a good early photo of the first generation RC exhaust.  They have no markings on them, no stamp, no anything.  But they are identifiable by the header to collector arrangenent, shallow bends off the head, etc.  That sticker was only given out with early RC exhausts.  It has a unique size, and has "dyno tune by" on the top of the sticker.

Here's an image of just that photo.

I've got an RC pipe in a storage building somewhere. I didn't use it then because it wouldn't bolt directly to my K8 head exhaust bolts. Forgot about that pipe until I read this article. I hope I can find it

Thanks for good reading! :)
They mention Stage tune part 1 and 3 here: http://www.dadscyclemags.com/tag/honda-750/

About the RC 4-1.
Why not produce them again? RC Junior might be interested to produce some?
I'm in if a certain batch must be ordered before making them. Stainless might be easier than chromed.

I had RC4-1 made for CB750 K7 on my K6. I had to use the K7 style exhaust fittings to head and make brackets for the passenger footpegs. Today K0-K6 version would be fine.

Here how it looked like 1980 when it was new. I sold it 1984, scraped but functional.

Frank,
I got FIRST DIBS if you find it, it's the early version in good shape, and you decide to sell it.
