Exhaust install question.
« on: December 07, 2015, 03:05:23 AM »
1976 CB750K.
My bike came to me all stock with stock exhaust that has a short one pc connector and clamp style.
My used 4 into 1 came with the two pc flange and bolt on finned ..... thing. I can not get all the together. Any advice would be great as I can not seem to find ANYTHING on this matter.
I love to make my bikes worthless due to high mileage!
2004 ST1300A .... the fast one. And dragging pegs on a CT.
1972…parts bike
1974…. Rusty frame but runs
1974 CB750..... Powder coated frame and parts, waiting for $$ hot rod motor.

I think I got it now. The two pc flange goes inside the pipes not the outside.

the two piece flange goes on the outside of the header (lip facing the finned collar) and as you tighten the head bolts thru the finned collar, it draws everything tight to the head.
