Smith Honda CR750 wins everything
« on: December 07, 2015, 07:09:41 AM »
Hi
Finally after a 3 year struggle, We have developed a winning formula.  My bike has finally beaten the sea of triumph triples in F750, and as a bonus we took the 1300 class as well.

classic racer magazine due out on dec 17th in uk, has written an article all about our road to success, and building a competitive 750 takes some doing, and I can certainly say we had to try a few things before we found the right combination.

see www.good-bits.co.uk   to see details of the honda

more pictures are welcome and we want to see what's inside :) HiPo is run as an "open source", no secrets among friends ;)

dont know much about CRMC regulations these days.... what age bracket is there for the F750 class?

What sort of power were you putting down?

Thanks for the posting,  ;D
always nice to see one of the great classic bikes kicking butt. I Read the guff, pistons interest me , a hi torque cam sounds interesting ,  Always interested in a cam that is an improvement, difficult to do with the included valve angle and rocker ratio,  but cam development by refinement has been doing some amazing things in touring car racing over the last few years.
cheers Johno
