500 Four Cylinder Head Nuts and WAShers
« on: December 16, 2015, 12:02:15 PM »
Just priced up a set of 12 new Head Nuts and WAshers from CMSNL and David Silver. Both want around $50 a set of 12.

Is there something special I am missing here are they gold plated or something, standard M8 Flange nuts can be had for way less than this. Is there any reason not to use stanard available M8 Flange Nuts?

I did exactly what you are asking; I used ARP flange nuts. Way better than the stock nuts and washers.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
