74 cB450 frame mods
« on: December 13, 2015, 03:06:19 PM »
Hello

I am looking to build a café style racer from my 74 CB 450, I looked through old posts for information on frame modification and opinions/input for ideas, and would like to keep in mind structural integrity hearing from those with experience.

With the seat and rear end style I am choosing I am wondering if I need to add support if I remove the upper seat bracket and forward rear fender support bracket? and I was hoping for some ideas for a clean way to mount a trimmed down rear fender?

Thanks guys....This sight seems to be much kinder to newbies then other "Italian" LOL....sites :)

Some cures of the rear and seat would help for good recommendations.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
