There's a video of it going down the runway complete with motorcycle sound and shifting gears. Pretty funny.
  Someone here said his company had put $1 million down on one, that was years ago.

The one I've seen shows the plane taking off but the audio is that of a Honda Civic equipped with fart can exhaust pulling away.

Nope, because it would probably have 3 or 4 radial engines powering it.  But hey, it's got a rad gold flake paint job!!

a couple years ago I seriously saw a gyrocopter on craigslist powered by a....wait for it....Triumph 650 Boneville engine! :o :o :o :o :o

Airplanes powered by HD and Henderson were fairly common in the 20,s and 30,s.
 Someone sold an adaptor kit..may have been Heathkit..
