Well I got the motor painted. Its still in my cardboard box oven. when I painted my lower forks last weekend then  I bake them I had them on cardboard well they stuck to the cardboard. didn't see that happening . so I waited ,want over them with a scotchbrite pad and repainted them well this time I managed to get a run on one of them.I got made at my self and stop ,I'll wait and try again. If it ain't one thing its two

I got the motor back in the frame. the hardest part was trying to figure out what bolts want were.Got to   finish up the forks and put the trees on. also got to do something with the shocks there in good shape just have to clean them up .If any one know if they come apart let me know it would make it better for cleaning .

Getting a little farther along in getting this thing back together. I got the  shocks apart they are to rust pitted to just clean up and put back on,so  I am going to paint them. I'll take them to work and sand blast them and use the epoxy paint . I have one of bolts for the rear turn singles that is bent if you have one and want to sell it to me cheap let me know

I am liking the black too.
Today I did some work on the rear shocks Well  painted them more like I am using plastic-dip. I have to clear them tomorrow . also painted the brake calipers today going to let them sit a while before I reassemble them
also made a clutch cover gasket and put bolts in my air assist fork caps Thanks to F16Viper68's post in tips for giving the size needed. 8mx12m

Haven't been getting much done lately been trying to figure out where the bolts go on the rear fender  got that figure out and rebuilt the fuel valve. I am going to need to get that gasket with the four wholes in it fixed trying to coat it with rtv  maybe I should bite the bullet and get a rebuild kit. but on a good note while testing the valve I filled the tank with water ,no leaks happy that the casswell job worked  also got 14 leaders out of the tank  may have to raise the reserve tube a little it stoped at 11 leaders that gives me 3 leaders reserve maybe thats enough.

I use Master Series Silver on inside of tanks. It a moisture cured urethane, so it is 2K, but nothing for you to mix. Just pour it in the tank and turn the tank to coat everything, then pour out the excess. It doesn't peel away because of gasoline, great material. I use it for rust on sheetmetal typically, but works great inside a tank.

I spent last weekend seeing if I can polishing up the exhaust . I felt like there was to much rust and pits on the headers so Today I wet sanded them and painted with vht flameproof back . I had sandblasted the crown thinges and just clear them
