You know you've got a hoarding problem when you have to rent a storage
to keep your stuff cause there's no more space at home!. Now you've got more room to buy more stuff so you can hoard all over again . Lol.  Yeah, I've been accused of that too, just not on such a grand scale. My friend Bill, always doing it big. Now just write me into your will--wala instant hoarder. Hahaha.

Mike and Frank from American Pickers will soon give you a visit?
I agree otherwise, find a huge pile of CB750 parts with complete bikes and extra engines would be nice to get cheap.

That street ET bonus money is still up for grabs. Just win any Man Cup street ET event, collect the Man Cup money and come see Bill to collect the SOHC bonus money on top of it all. That would make a BIG payday.

Not certain if Bill intends to continue the reaction time, low ET and highest MPH bonuses but if he does, it could help offset your race expenses. Last season, it was  $100 per category or a total $600 per weekend you could win if you swept all challenges both days. Who else will pay you to win without putting anything up??

I'm going to be sure to have my wife fabricate some engine diapers for us by next season. Got one on my top gas Kawasaki we can use as a basic example. They may not be NHRA/SFI approvable but if they contain several ounces of oil, it'll at less give you an opportunity to roll to the side of the track without completely oiling it down and will keep the slick stuff off the tire so the rider stays upright til the bike stops. I'll get this going while she's on Christmas break from her tutoring business.

What kind of fibers will she use Frank? If Bill can destroy a Carrillo........  ;)

Jerry, we'll use Cordura ballistic material.

Hey Frank: I'AM STILL GOOD FOR THE $500 HUMOR MONEY in 2017 for any SOHC based 750 HONDA a winner in ST/ET MAN CUP. This is not HUMOR but  real money for a very hard win in that class.

Pops,

I gave it a hard run in 2016. Making it to the final 4 was about the best I could do. Time to freshen up the old motor over the winter. I mainly need to get that dang launch light hooked up on the bike so I can repeat my 60's times to net consistent ET's. Sad to say, I had all the stuff to do the since before the Memphis race but never took the time to set the system up on the bike. Hopefully it'll help a bit but moreso the rider will be hitting the practice tree really hard during my down time. My lights weren't bad but I need to tighten up more in order to make those hard to win rounds. The competition is tough in the ET classes. No room to screw up anywhere on the track.

I'm going after a top 5 finish in 2017 and an event win. Goals!!!!

Top 5 is very tuff with 50-100 bikes in that lane and your first win ticket is a time trial with NO POINTS, there SHOULD BE A LOSER ONLY BRACKET for first round losers with first round winners racing first round  winners for second round points. No points for any loser, they could be paired for a loser bracket only after the winners only ET. bracket race.

Pops,
While I didn't meet my top 5 goal this year, I did end the season in 7th place, just behind your buddy Joey Gladstone. Right now its 2-1, my favor against him. I redlighted when I raced him in Rockingham.

I agree the points system does not favor the true winner of the first round nor is the 2nd round winner compensated for sending his opponent to the trailer-permanently. If a racer made it into the 3rd round, he will have the same points as everyone else that showed up that day to race. Even if they have lost in previous rounds and are sitting around drinking beer and you are sitting on your bike in the lanes about to do 3rd round eliminations- the points are equal at 22. In my opinion, the rider that advances to the 3rd round should begin collecting points above and beyond the rider that was eliminated in round 2. The only way that will change is if a collective group  of the ET class racers forcefully complains to Jaye and Dave. Three classes are affected by this lack of logical thinking. It only adds one additional entry to the points tabulation so to say its extra work does not compute with me. True, everyone has to race under the same system, but it simply does not make sense to carry the "everyone gets a trophy" philosophy past the 2nd round.

I understand your thoughts about a looser bracket, but knowing the Man Cup people, its not likely to happen in our lifetime.

Have a happy holiday season and we'll see you in the lanes next season.

Thanks for the update Bill. Hopefully all will get back to normal for you.

You go BIG and fast and i'll probably be little and SLOW. Once again, lets make a good showing of SOHC bikes this season.

It sure would be nice to get a head count of those who plan to race their SOHC's in 2017. Doesn't matter if its the Man Cup series or local brackets, just dust them off and have some fun.

I've been thinking about installing a small fairing similar to that...

If I can find one for a small price!  ;)
How "small price" are you looking for, Wilbur? 40 bucks plus shipping small enough? ;)

Haha, lol, you'll go quick and fast! You get the chrome cover in the pics, the one with caps but the caps went to Eric who bought the other one. Did stop long enough to look at this...help MPH maybe and I can tuck behind....we'll see, nothing definitive yet! Thanks,  Bill

Dennis proved his fairing was worth ~10mph on the salt!
