Thanks for the input. Some is going, oil temp gauge and voltmeter, going use the little Dyna total loss little box like on Samauto, 3 lights, green , amber, and red. Frank, I use the neutral light usually.So is functional still but gutting other lights. We getting there. ......Bill

Bill, why wait til the 28th to race? We're having a CSRA Dragbike Association ET race this sunday at Carolina Dragway. Gates open at noon. We'll be racing as long as the mother nature gives her blessing. It'll be a great time for you to test. We run our event's 1/8th mile but you can test 1/4 mile in time runs if you want or just test after the race is over. Be glad to have you. I won't be running my Honda at this event. I'll be on my Kaw.

BILL: Don't get down !!!!! go in your shop and work on that Black Beauty until all is perfect with her motor. You have spent lots of funds and need to get results, if you are running race gas then clean things out as I spent many days cleaning NEUTEC race fuel off of BUSA THROTTLE BODIES that looked like dried tobacco spit on their blades= you go faster but need cleaning every time. Carb cleaner $3.00 a can.

Pops, that Neutec was some nasty $h!@. Predecessor to todays crack fuel that Bill uses. I simply refuse to use that oxygenated stuff as i see no need to go through all that hassle just to bracket race. It adds a little horspower but to me, the gains are not worth the cost or trouble for our SOHC bikes. I got enough maintenance to do with my bikes after a race and removing fuel from the tank and carbs each time simply does not add up. But hey, to each his own. I'm on a poor boy budget anyway so i'll stick with my $55/5 gallon pail, Renegade fuel and keep running low to mid 10' second times. Lol.

Come on Bill- git er done so you can lower the bar. You got some top notch, high dollar parts in that engine. It should produce some low numbers once that head is fixed. Might give me incentive to step my program up and complete the mono shock project bike.

Memphis, we'll line em up first time run on saturday for braggin rights. The fellas on the sideline can place some bets.

It sure was Frank. I did not want to touch a head that ran that stuff (all the road racers used it to). If you spilled it on you it disappeared in a second....next stop your liver in 5 seconds.

I believe it was an Elf fuel being sold by a dummy company.....it was illegal in Europe. At least that is what I heard.
Personally I would use the VP 94 octane non ethanol small engine fuel. It doesn't hurt the rubber parts in the carbs and doesn't gum up. It is great fuel.....I use it in all my bikes (which shows how little riding I get to do.)

Yep, I use the VP94 also, it can sit! But for racing right now I'm using MR12. I run the VP behind it. Off to work. Tired, but not giving up. Frank, I'll be on sumpin. Lol.

Right on the money til 10,000 rpms when we had a lean spike. Guys, I'm guessing these were aftermarket, but not sure! Next ones will be OEM Honda ones for sure, wow. Good thing it came back apart. Never seen this before.
