VIDEO: CB500 CB550 Top End Rebuild
« on: December 18, 2015, 08:21:16 AM »
Hey everyone,

I just came out with a 2hr 30min long video that shows you how to take the whole top end apart on CB500/550 models.

This is a premium video that I offer and is shot in 1080p.

I also want to mention that 20% of each sale will be donated to this site. My way of helping people get their bikes running again and supporting forums such as this one.

OK, so this engine in particular has been sitting for some time and the owner wanted to freshen it up. It appeared to have some top end leaks as well. The video starts out with a compression and leak down test before and after rebuild/refresh.

View the sample here:

Here is the full blog post with some more info:

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thanks,
Matt

I purchased the 550 top end rebuild video and highly recommend it.  It takes a lot of the mystery out the process for novices like me.

I purchased this video as well.  It was a great help for a first time engine rebuild.  Especially since the engine I was rebuilding was the same exact model and year as the one featured in the video.  Matt was also quick to respond to a couple of questions I had during the process.  Highly recommended!  Especially for the first timer.

Thanks again Matt.
