Carb rebuild
« on: December 19, 2015, 03:31:03 AM »
Not sure if this belongs here or under good seller?

Just wanted to do a shout out to anyone leary of doing they're own carb rebuild. If that's the case I strongly urge you to send them to harisuluv.
This guy did an amazing job on my carbs and went the extra mile to make them look better than when they came off the assembly line.

As you can see from the pictures my carbs looked almost hopelesd, but harisuluv worked his magic and got these babies brought back to life.

Is this service better than CB 750 carbs .com? What was the cost for the rebuild?

Cost for the 550 was 325 through Sohc forums. I believe it's 350 or 325 for 750 carbs. If you email him he can give you all the details.

Having done a carb restoration myself, I can appreciate the service that Harisluv provides.  It's very tedious and time consuming.  For people who don't have that sort of time on their hands, it's worth the money.

Anyone else have experience with this person? I’ve tried calling a few times and the number listed came up not in service... is he still around or can recommend someone who does this service?

Thanks,
Joe

I was in the shop next to James for a couple of years, but a year or so ago he shut down his service, sorry to say.
