first time stumped...first build...cb750k8 rear drum arm?..

Hi...new to the forum..i would appreciate any help
I am restoring a cb750k8...have it all disassembled except the arm that attaches to the rear drum brake. There is a bolt that goes through it and a nut at the back but no space to use a wrench or socket...
Doesnt seem like there are many with this issue from what ive searched...
Ive attached a pic...but not sure if im doing it right lol

Remove the nut and Just hammer it out

Shouldve mentioned this...bolt spins with the nut...and cant get a hold of the bolt...

Put a pair of vice grips on the bolt to lock it into place and have someone hold the vice grips.  That should keep the bolt from spinning so that you can get the nut off.

Wrong or damaged bolt in there. It should be an oblong bolt head that locks into the shape of the indent in the arm. It then is self locking and won't spin on you.
Can't tell from your picture if the original bolt is in there and rounded off or the incorrect bolt.
The correct bolt has a flush head like what I see in there, so a PO may have damaged the shape so it will no longer lock up properly.
Common sense.....isn't so common!

How important is it that it shouldnt rotate? Should this be replaced?

With the right bolt in there, you can re and re it from the outside..effortlessly..

I think i understand what it does now...thx for the suggestion ill call honda tmr...hopefully they have it in stock or can order it..
