Hi, My name is Pete I live in Gulfport ,Fl. I am 64 years young a pipefitter/welder by trade. I am rather new to motorcycling I started back in 06. My first bike was a syn 200 scooter, I loved riding so much I sold my truck and bought a new 08 Yamaha 650 classic , still have it today, I also ended up with a 08 Honda Goldwing comfort/navi ( thanks to my dear wife) Start wrenching on my bikes about two years ago and just fond that I enjoy that too. which put me here I just got a 1982 Honda 650 nighthawk. Its been in a garage for the last 5 years so I have plans on restoring it as close to original as I can. So far I am enjoy this site and looking forward to learning as much as possible about this bike

here's my bikes the nighthawk doesn't have the original tank going to start welding on it at tomorrow. I'll be finding out if I can weld as good as I think I can lol

Thanks Tom I started late and think I am trying to catch up . Ill be 65 in may  I ride before I take the 4 wheeler.
I even sold my truck to get my V star haven't road a  4 wheel  to work since 2009
