Just for the greater good but are you willing to take some dimensions and photo's of the original rotor
(sorry, no 4-pole stator I can help you with)

Looking more closely at the picture in the 1st post, there is a timing tab marked in red, affixed to the stator at about 4:30, and an F mark on the rotor just below 3:00. It appears that the leading edge of the magnet would be aligned with the center of the pole piece at the firing point.
Could a 6 pole rotor be converted to 4 pole? Possibly drill out the rivets, drill new holes, and re-rivet?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I have been thinking about that. Let 2 of them stay, and remove 4, and put 2 of them in again.

The rotor OD is 62mm, while CB77 and Benly's have 80mm.... Back and think again...

Great! thanks for the photo's.
Are you willing to take dimensions of the diameter and height of the rotor. And the thickness of the laminated steel piece of the stator?
