Where to get cylinder stud nuts?
« on: June 29, 2016, 03:00:55 PM »
The threads of my cylinder stud nuts got pretty messed up from jamming together so hard, but now I can't seem to find them anywhere -- I can't even find the damn things on the fiche to order from Honda! Anyone have some good spares or know the part number/fiche to find them?

And on the topic of not having the fiche -- are there washers under them, or are they just flange nuts? Again, without the fiche, I'm lost!

Bike is a '78 750K

Hey Drumstyx, Cycle X sells some nice Heavy Duty ones with their studs or you can buy them separately. Just make sure whatever you do get it's at least Grade 8 i believe (or 10.9 in metric) and they're okay to be inside the engine. I haven't seen them too many places. Hope this helps

A gazillion hits come up for metric flange nuts.  Use your search-fu padawan.  ;D

Why not do this the easy way and buy them from HONDA?

94050-08000  NUT, FLANGE (8MM)  $0.99

Your dealer would gladly add them to their next order if not in stock. No shipping charges either.

Not having a fiche is as easy as going to Motogrid.com or numerous sites.
