Whst did you get for your bike
« on: December 24, 2015, 07:54:02 PM »
I didn't actually get anything material for the bike but I did get extra funds into the bank account so now I will be ordering those Ikon shocks I have been waiting for.

Same here....a bit of cash that I will use to buy a valve cover gasket, 6 cam pucks, and 4 exhaust gaskets. Might even have a few bucks left for something else! I know I sold you some parts awhile back Timbo but can't remember what....it's been awhile. Hope it's coming along nice.
Hoses lookin' good'  Edward. That's on my shopping list for some day. Did my own oil cooler lines last year with AN fittings. Tell me about you crimps and who made them.
Merry Christmas and happy trouble free rides.....Fred

My wife probably asked for the same thing for Christmas with the same complaint.

Brother got me a bench grinder. I spent the last few days cleaning out my shed to build a new workbench and make my bike space more of a shop.

Bench Grinder is a must have for around the house, auto, bike, etc. I've had one for years but want to get another for aluminum polishing. Sucks having to change the wheels around every time. My grinder came with coarse & medium stones but I swapped the coarse out for a wire wheel.

A bench vice that swivels on all planes. I already used it within the hour of getting it to fix something. They really are a great thing to have.

I've found a scissor jack on a piece of plywood works great for lifting the front/rear on the lift. And a  set of pull down straps just for the lift.

I got two bike covers, one for the sandcast one for the diecast and my first new Honda since 1973, an EU2000i generator.

I have 2 sets. One on the bike and one off. I'm going to do one set like this (have crimps done at hydraulic shop). With the other set I want to take the ends to a welder and have them modified with AN bungs.
