With the mass media loaded up with the usual political campaign crap I thought some of you might wonder about the etymology of the word "politics". Come on, stay with me here!
With my professional training it was necessary to learn a lot of Latin and Greek derivations for the terminology. So, I thought I would satisfy anyones curiosity.
"Politics": from the Greek root word "Poli" meaning "many" and "tics" meaning many blood-sucking insects.
