Caliper Adjuster Bolt Size
« on: December 29, 2015, 12:24:32 PM »
Kind of a 2 part question.

1) Can anybody inform me as to what size the caliper adjustment bolt is? It's part #11 is this diagram

http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb500-500-four-k1-1972-usa_model460/partslist/F++06.html#results

it's this part:

2) can someone recommend a better site/book with more precise parts info for 1972 cb500?

Cheers!

The shaft and threaded portion is 6mm. You probably know its special in that one end has a broad flat head with a slot. The other end has a screwdriver slot in it, right in the threads.

But, a std 6mm bolt could be rigged to work.
