Yes, the GS were a true superbike.  Looks good in red! Surprised you dont like it in white...

A little more than I want to spend Steve. I am sourcing front fairing stay and cowl for down the road. A lot of parts, too bad it's missing them. Probably around $500 when all is said and done with paint.

Bike was purchased without them as I'm sure he would of installed it had he had them to begin with. Front fairing is like the picture of the White GS.

Project found and seller will bring to me next week. Original owner, stored inside with 11k on the clock. Has owners manual, original bill of sale and all paper work. Other than the sissy bar it's all original.

I'll post pictures later. Some tank damage on right side but in my area $600 delivered for a titled bike is pretty rare. I'll fix it or live with it. Coming out of Vegas so that saves me time and a rental. 

Titled as a 1982 Suzuki GS400E but every parts diagram points to an 83 GS450.

Close Steve. I have pictures but they are in JPEG format. I need to load to photobucket then post. I'm burnt out. Saw this bike at 0400 hrs. And have been reading, dealing on bike and who knows what else.

It is an 82. A lot of changes. Ignition, fuel gauge (which it has) and more. Single disc front, drum rear. Pretty good crease in the tank but I'll work that out. In one pic I have it shows a 9500 redline. Good grief! This one is Katana Silver.

Let me get a quick pic posted then I'll start a new build thread.

Looking closer at your pic I would say yes except the engine color and dual disc brakes.

Well Stev-o that extra 700cc's would get me past 100mph Very fast and the 'local constabulary'  would see a red 'flash' and collect lot's of $ from me;I lived on an island at the time w/ a speed limit of 45mph plus I had a very 'built' 1170cc motor w/ over $3K in parts into it on top of it all..  needless to say I was very motivated to sell it

tt, is that GSX400E that you've committed to buy a USA spec bike? or Canadian ? either way I like it
