New from Seattle
« on: December 31, 2015, 06:09:40 PM »
New here from Seattle. I inherited a 1974 CB 750 from my father in law. It has just over 37,000mi. I am new to motorcycles, but grew up with ATVs.

The bike runs well, but needs some tuning. I also want to remove the fairing. He gave me the lowers and the matching rear case. Came with the original side covers too, but they are cracked. I am looking forward to working on the bike when I have the time and learning more. I have read some helpful posts on here already and glad to have the resources to help in the future.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll check out Yamiya to see what they have. 700504, do you know of any good Seattle area shows, shops, or groups to swap parts or help with service? At some point, I may need some paint or chrome work done too.

Thanks, again

Welcome from Texas.  Sorry to hear about your father in law, been there.

Bike looks good but will look better once fairing and trunk are off and look for a stock seat.

If the side covers just have minor cracks, you can epoxy them as a temp fix.

Member Frankenstuff sells excellent aftermarket covers, Check the for sale thread.
