CB 650 Fuel Tank interchange
« on: June 25, 2015, 11:11:27 PM »
Looking for a tank for my 650 frame and was seeing if anyone out there knows of other cb models that can be swapped out with minimal fab work.

From looking around the interwebs it sounds like the 69-76 Cb750 tanks will fit with thinner tank rubbers. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Thanks

Which year 650? They were almost all different.

It's a little motor and likes having the tits revved off it.

Anything can be made to fit.  The CB650 backbone is very similar to that of a CB550.  It is narrower and deeper than that of a 750.

Its a 81.

Thanks for the info I was actually looking at some 550 tanks and wasn't sure if it'd make a better fit or not.
