Have to agree with you about the playacting though, although there were some proper handbags drawn at Upton Park last weekend

Ya know Chris, how some players think they can get away with some of their antics is beond me.

They don't seem bothered about cheating when they know that their acting is crap in the action replay.

Thats why I dont go out of my way to watch soccer any more.

I admit I don't really watch sports on tv, but I feel organized sports do have their place. It can give youth a sense of belonging and teach teamwork. In these ever-changing times we need some escape from the harshness of the world around us.

Even better, high school sports allow an otherwise shy and awkward teenager to suddenly find himself getting laid by cheerleaders because of a little athletic ability.

OK I concede that sports in highs school can teach teamwork, and give kids a sense of belonging. But when grown men are yelling at the telly and ignoring those same kids......lame.
