Washers in the Honda CB750 Carb Gasket Kit.
« on: January 06, 2016, 08:07:12 PM »
Hey guys. I just pulled out these OEM gasket sets that I have to rebuild a bank of carburetors and I was curious about what these certain washers were for.

In the picture you can see that there's a float bowl gasket, float bowl screw o-ring, fuel inlet o-rings, top cover gasket, float needle valve washer, and the smaller metal washer is for the vacuum screw.

My question is what is that bigger metal washer for? One didn't come off of any part of my carbs so I'm confused about what it is for.

Early cb750 carbs (4 cables) had a crush washer with a smaller drain plug.  That would be the bigger washer.
